Mobile home is simply another term for a park home. The term mobile home is generally used more in the legal side of dealing with park homes and park home estates. For example the act of parliament which regulates park home or mobile home sites is called the mobile homes act.

I regularly get asked what the mobile homes act is, why we have the mobile homes act and if we need it. The mobile homes act was first brought into force in 1963 as an act of parliament to regulate park home estates and the way in which they are run.

Every park home we sell comes connected to services although the exact services vary from one park home estate to another. The standard services that we are always connected to is BT and mains electric. The BT ducting is put in place when we develop the park home estate so it is simply a case of one phone call when you move in to get BT to connect the line and assign you a phone number.
